Data backup using the Securing Data Simply service is simple and automatic.

• Backup happens automatically each day at a time you decide.
• You can continue working during the backup.
• It uses your broadband connection to send the data to a data centre in London. This is then automatically copied to a second data centre for resilience.

Easy to install and configure

Installing and configuring the Securing Data Simply service is simplicity itself. We do it for you.

Using a secure remote connection we install the software. We discuss with you by telephone your requirements in not-IT speak and configure the software. All the time you can see what we are doing. When the job is finished the connection is closed and can not be opened again by us.

Simple, quick, and secure. Sorted.

If you prefer to install and configure the service yourself then this option is also available.

Is it secure ?

The data backup service is very secure.

The data is compressed and sent encrypted over the internet. It is further encrypted at the data centre.

Only you know the encryption key.

This is very important to understand that only you know the first encryption key. The key is not kept at the data centre. If you forget your encryption key then you can not restore your data. We can not look up your encryption key. We can not reset your encryption key.
